About the Wabanaki Studies School Admin Learning Cohort

School administrators and curriculum coordinators are encouraged to join our upcoming Wabanaki Studies learning cohorts to build connections, explore new resources, and learn how to best implement the teaching of Wabanaki Studies across their district.

This cohort will be open to all administrators across Maine. We will begin with a virtual introductory session, after which participants will have some time to explore resources and curriculum independently before gathering for two different in-person sessions with the Maine DOE’s Wabanaki Studies Specialist, Brianne Lolar.

Participants will be asked to complete the online Maine Dept. of Education microcourse, Wabanaki Studies: Essentials for Teaching and Learning, before attending their first in-person session.
