Building a Culture of Teaching Outside Workshop: Strong, ME

Are you a Maine educator teaching outside at your school, but feel like you’re the only one? Then join us for a workshop on how to create a culture of outdoor learning at your school!

In this workshop you will explore strategies to support taking students outside, foster a conversation among your colleagues, admin, and community to support long-term change, and navigate available open-source resources.

Participants will receive a $100 Stipend and Contact Hours for attending. Coffee, tea, snacks, lunch, and educator gifts are included.

Dates and Times:

April 3rd 10-4 at Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association (MOFGA), Unity

May 16th 10-4 at Day Mountain Regional Middle School, Strong

Please note: If you have already participated in this workshop, you are also welcome to register, as well, but you will be placed on a waitlist and accepted closer to the date if we have any open spaces not filled by new participants.
