Overview:

Tom's of Maine launched the Tom’s of Maine Incubator on September 28, inviting young BIPOC climate activists to apply for the 2022 cohort for a chance to gain access to funding, mentorship and more. Tom’s of Maine wants to spread this news far and wide to share this exciting opportunity and attract as many applicants as possible. This Amplification Toolkit is designed to make it easy for Tom’s of Maine stakeholders to easily share this news via social media, helping the brand reach even more potential applicants. See below for details.

About the Tom’s of Maine Incubator:

Tom’s of Maine’s started with a small $5,000 loan and a big dream, and today the brand has grown to a company that is still dedicated to the founders’ vision – creating natural personal care products that are good for customers and good for the planet. Now, Tom’s wants to pay it forward and give the next generation a head start. We believe that to make an impact on the future we need more than just talk – we need real action. That’s why we are launching this Incubator.

The Tom’s of Maine Incubator is a seven-month program designed to resource the next generation of diverse leaders driving environmental solutions by providing funding, mentorship, amplification and support to these young changemakers who are not always included in the climate movement, empowering them to Do Good. For Real.

The five winning Incubator Members will each receive $20,000 in funding to help support their work, plus access to expert mentors, opportunities to collaborate in person/virtually and support from Tom’s of Maine in amplifying their work and engagement with their message.
